THE BEST KIND OF ENDORSMENT
Tom Cole voted for a war on Iraq, on clouds of suspicion, costing us our reputation in the world and close to 1 Trillion dollars – which is more than the bailout. Not to mention what it cost you in volatile fuel prices.
My son was killed in Iraq over a year ago, and his friends who were there with him told me about some problems they faced. Some of these problems could be corrected. I called Tom Cole’s secretary and volunteered to drive to his office over Christmas and share with him what I learned from out troops. I said it would only take twenty minutes and it might save some future lives. They told me it would be a month or two to schedule a meeting. That was almost a year and 400 troops ago.
I see how Tom Cole cares.
I’ve met Blake Cummings, Tom Cole’s opposition, a man who cares about our future. It gives me hope to see Blake willing to run for office.
