Passenger Rail Oklahoma and the Northern Flyer Alliance will be holding
another in a series of public meetings. This meeting is intended to provide
area Amtrak supporters with an opportunity to learn more about the Kansas
DOT Passenger Rail Expansion study along the 602-mile corridor between
Kansas City and Fort Worth. This is a landmark event as it signals the
completion of our public information campaign from Lawrence, Kansas to the
Texas border. Over 40 resolutions of support have been secured since this
campaign began last year. A drawing will be held for tickets for two on the
Heartland Flyer. The meeting has been scheduled to match with the Heartland
Flyer schedule.
